![]() The student name in the import file will be matched with a student in the gradebook, and that student will be given the imported score. The student names can be any of the formats used when importing students, as described above. Each following line should be a student followed by their score on that assignment. If the points possible is missing, 100 points will be used. If the category is missing, the first category will be used. The category must be a category that is already set up in the class. You can optionally include the category name and the points possible after that. When you are importing assignments, the first 1-3 lines must be the assignment information. Gradekeeper will figure out which format you are using to import the student. So, for a text file, importing Amy Albright, could look like any of the following: 1234 Amy Albright 1234 Albright, Amy 1234 Amy Albright Amy Albright Albright, Amy Amy Albright Additionally, you can add an email address after each student name. The name can be one item, either first name last name or last name, first name (the comma is very important!), or the name can be two separate items, the first name, then the last name. The student id should be first, followed by the student name. When importing students, each line in the text or csv file should have one student. The import will always go into the currently open class, so if you want to create a new class and import your roster, be sure to create the new class first by clicking the + button on the top left. When you open a text or csv file, Gradekeeper will determine whether you are importing students or an assignment. ![]() As mentioned in my post about the new version of the web app, you can now import an assignment from a text or csv file.

![]() ![]() ![]() It is a very loose parody of American Football, incorporating elements of classic fantasy settings like elves, orcs, and dwarves. Do you want a team that pummels its way down the field, wreaking havoc in its wake? Pick up a Chaos Chosen team and watch heads roll (or get smashed)! Do you want to play a team that’s agile, fast, and a legit scoring threat on just about any turn? Then grab some Wood Elves, and resist the urge to smugly say “scoreboard” every five seconds of every game! The Historyīlood Bowl is the original tabletop fantasy football game, first released in 1986 and created by Jervis Johnson. It uses specialized dice, custom measuring tools and templates, and poses a tactical and strategic challenge that takes up less time than a game of Warhammer, but still has a ton of the complexity and fun of its parent setting.īlood Bowl has all of the classic Warhammer Fantasy factions: Humans, Orcs, Elves (all 4 types!), Dwarves, Undead, Skaven, Chaos, Lizardmen, Goblins, and even Halflings! There is something for everyone in Blood Bowl. If you’re a new coach or are Blood Bowl-curious, read on! Stick with Goonhammer in the coming days for more Blood Bowl coverage, including our New Edition Roundtable! What is Blood Bowl?ĭo you like football or rugby? Have you ever thought, “This sport is cool or whatever, but I really want to see a psychotic goblin saw an elf in half with a chainsaw.” Well, dear Sports Fan, then Blood Bowl is for you! Blood Bowl is a fast-paced, easy-to-learn, but difficult-to-master turn-based tabletop game that pits a small team of fantasy trope players against a roughly equal opposing team on a pitch (or field). I may update the rules in the future, but for now will stick with what I have collected.Hey there, Sports Fans! Welcome to Goonhammer’s inaugural coverage of everyone’s favorite fantasy football game: Blood Bowl ! With the new edition going up for pre-order last weekend, we wanted to get the word out to those who might be interested in diving into one of Games Workshop’s most accessible games. ![]() That is mainly because all updated rules can not be found in one central place yet and from what I gather, most people /leagues /tournaments still use the old CRP. So far I am unwilling to give my site an update, because up until now I cannot see a benefit in it. I am aware, that with the re-publushing of Blood Bowl by Games Workshop in 2016 there have been changes and additions to the rules that you find here. You have done some great work! Thank you for sharing it! I do encourage you to look around for yourself and maybe you find something, that suits your needs better.įinally I would like to thank the creators of the recources you find here. Or at least join the NAF, which also does a marvellous job for the community.Īlso, a quick word on the things I share here: if you search around you will find tons of high quality resources for Blood Bowl! I only chose a very small quantity of what is to be found. You will have to get your own set of dice and/or substitue some Block Dice though.Īnd even though everything is for free on this site, I highly recommend spending money on this game! There are many fabulous companies out there that do wonderful things. Now, all you need is a printer, some thin cardboard, a pair of sciccors and some time. It will give you an almost complete set of the Blood Bowl game. I took the things I considered good, added things I couldn’t find on the web and put them all together on this site. My aim was to collect Do-It-Yourself-Blood-Bowl-Resources in one central place, so players who are new to the game will find the neccessary equipment available to them. I am SAEBELSULTAN (NAF-Tag and on the forums) and you will find here almost everything you need in order to start playing Blood Bowl. ![]() Taking advantage of a little-known meteorological phenomenon called the Stratospheric Polar Night Jet, Perlan 2’s pilots hope to climb to 90,000ft and above to conduct scientific research. The glider’s registration, N901EE, is a nod to the glider’s goal of being the first to fly at 90,000ft while also recognising the team’s founder and board chair – aviation legend Einar Enevoldson.Īll going according to plan, the record-setting altitude flights will take place in El Calafate, Argentina in mid-2016 during the Southern Hemisphere’s winter season. There, the team plans to test all of Perlan 2’s systems at altitudes upwards of 40,000ft, flying into the famous Sierra Wave. Ground vibration testing will then take place in San Diego, California, and the next test flights for the glider will begin in December 2015, in Minden, Nevada. Perlan 2 will now return to the build process, to be fitted with its pressurisation and crew-rebreather systems. Experimental Glider to Attempt Record-Breaking Flight Into Space The Perlan Project hopes to ride Patagonia’s ferocious mountain winds into aviation history. This differs from a conventional glider’s jettisonable canopy that allows for pilots to egress and parachute to safety. The pressurised Perlan 2 has plug hatches, so it is equipped with a ballistic parachute system that the crew can deploy in the case of an emergency. Perlan 2 was flown in a basic configuration, equipped with flight instruments, radio and transponder as well as an LX-9000 gliding navigation system. In order to simulate the view from the porthole-like windows of Perlan 2, the front canopy of the DG-1001 was masked to match the new glider’s SpaceShipOne-like design. Payne flew a rehearsal of Perlan 2’s first flight profile on 20 September, in fellow Perlan team member Dennis Tito’s DG Flugzeugbau DG-1001M glider. It’s very stable in pitch, and has slightly high stick forces, which you’d expect in a big open class airplane.” “It flies like a big open class sailplane, which means it doesn’t roll very fast, but that’s the characteristic you have in the long wings. “It’s a beautiful flying airplane it was a lot of fun today,” says Payne. ![]() Other test manoeuvers included approach to stall, trim and air brake checks, and at the end of the 20 minute descent, the final pattern and landing behavior of the 25.6m (84ft) wingspan glider. After releasing from the tow plane at an altitude of 5,000ft, the Perlan 2’s basic stability was tested and control checks were done. Launching early in the morning 23 September from the Redmond Municipal Airport in Redmond, Oregon, chief pilot Jim Payne and team pilot and project manager Morgan Sandercock were towed aloft by a Piper Pawnee towplane.ĭuring a 12-minute climb, Payne checked the carbon-fibre glider’s control harmony and basic towing qualities. The Airbus Perlan Mission II is a major step closer to the goal of sustained, piloted flight at 90,000ft following the successful first flight of the Perlan 2 experimental glider. A video showing the important steps of Perlan 2 assembly is available on PerlanProject youtube channel at A quick-time fun version of the rigging video is available at Videos edited by Tim Davis Media.Perlan 2 on its first flight, just after releasing from the Piper Pawnee towplane. Two of our interns Alec Guay and Loris Gliner show how the wings line up next to the fuselage. Applause is appreciated at the end of the process. As always with any glider, the alignment of the two wings is fine tuned and then the 2 greased spar pins are inserted into the alligned holes through both spar stubs. The pressurized glider flew to the edge of space to an altitude of an astonishing 76,000 ft. Then the wing rigger is switched to the second (right) wing. The Airbus Perlan 2 aircraft set a new gliding altitude world record recently. The gently curved spar stub of the heavy wing needs to be eyeballed in as it enters the fuselage opening. We apply special grease between metal parts that won’t freeze at the extremely low (-90F) temps that we have already seen. The photos and video are in the Aero Club Lago Argentino hangar at the El Calafate airport. We have created our own heavy-duty rigging aids like metal rolling saw horses modified by Greg Scates, a wing-rigger with air jack for fine tuned adjustments made by Tom Stowers, and a tail dolly made by Silvio Ricardi. ![]() ![]() We pull out the fuselage and each wing from the special built Cobra trailer. Here The whole example if you just want to copy-and-paste the code and play with it: from _movement import DiagonalMovement from import Grid from _star import AStarFinder matrix =, , ] grid = Grid ( matrix = matrix ) start = grid. You can access print(path) to get the specific list of coordinates. We allow horizontal movement, so it is not using the upper-right corner. You see the path from start to end marked by 'x' characters. You can ignore the +, - and | characters, they just show the border around your map, the blank space is a free field, 's' marks the start, 'e' the end and '#' our obstacle in the middle. The result should look like this: ('operations:', 5, 'path length:', 4) grid_str ( path = path, start = start, end = end )) print ( 'operations:', runs, 'path length:', len ( path )) print ( grid. Note that the start and end points are part of the path. Now we can print the result (or do something else with it). finder = AStarFinder ( diagonal_movement = DiagonalMovement. The find_path function does not only return you the path from the start to the end point it also returns the number of times the algorithm needed to be called until a way was found. node ( 2, 2 )Ĭreate a new instance of our finder and let it do its work. We get the start (top-left) and endpoint (bottom-right) from the map: start = grid. We assume that your map is a square, so the size height is defined by the length of the outer list and the width by the length of the first list inside it. This will create Node instances for every element of our map. We create a new grid from this map representation. It does not make a difference for the path finding algorithm but it might be useful for your later map evaluation. Note: you can use negative values to describe different types of obstacles. Feel free to create a more complex map or use some sensor data as input for it. We ignore the weight for now, all fields have the same cost of 1. To make it not to easy for the algorithm we added an obstacle in the middle, so it can not use the direct way. In this example we like the algorithm to create a path from the upper left to the bottom right. The bigger the number the higher the cost to walk that field. Any number bigger than 0 describes the weight of a field that can be walked on. Any value smaller or equal to 0 describes an obstacle. It is generally not advisable to lose more than 2 pounds per week as it can have negative health effects, i.e. Recall that 1 pound (~0.45 kg) equates to approximately 3500 calories, and reducing daily caloric intake relative to estimated BMR by 500 calories per day will theoretically result in a loss of 1 pound a week. Remember that the values attained from these equations are approximations and subtracting exactly 500 calories from your BMR will not necessarily result in exactly 1 pound lost per week – it could be less, or it could be more! If you know your body fat percentage, the Katch-McArdle Formula might be a more accurate representation of your BMR.
